How does the matching quiz work?

You answer six quick questions about your timeline, location, budget, and what matters most to you. We score every agent in our directory against your inputs and show you the top three. Our team reviews your request and may connect you with matched local agents after you confirm your email. The whole quiz takes about 60 seconds.

How are agents verified?

Accepted Answer

Every agent in our directory starts as an unclaimed profile sourced from license records: name, brokerage and sales history. An agent who wants to claim their profile signs in and submits a claim with their license number. A license number is public record, so a match proves nothing on its own: our team reviews every claim and approves it only once we're satisfied the person is the agent. Until then the profile stays unclaimed and nothing on it changes hands.

Is it free for consumers?

Yes. Always. Buyers, sellers, renters, and refinancers never pay us. Your contact info is never sold to third parties either. Our team reviews your request first, and after you confirm your email we may connect you with the agents you were matched with.

How do agents pay?

Accepted Answer

Agents can claim their profile and answer the messages visitors send them from it for free. They can also subscribe to our Featured tier, which is paid placement: Featured agents are listed first and labeled Featured where they serve, carry the Featured badge, are first in line for matched leads in the ZIPs they hold, and get a higher routing weight on matched leads in their area. Featured is from $199 per ZIP per month, set by each ZIP's market; cancel anytime. We don't promise a lead count. Optional services include a pro bio rewrite ($99) and our free marketing audit. Lead credits come in two packs: 5 credits for $199 ($39.80 per lead), or 20 credits for $499 ($24.95 per lead). One credit is one matched lead: a lead we match to you from the matching quiz or a home-value request uses one credit when it is delivered, after the visitor confirms their email. Messages visitors send you from your own profile never use credits. Neither do matched leads in the area your Featured subscription covers, spam, or requests that never reach you.

What happens when an agent runs out of lead credits?

With no credits left, a matched lead waits on your dashboard, without the visitor's contact details, until you add credits; it is never dropped. Online checkout for credits is not open yet. Until it is, matched leads are delivered without using credits.

Why are some agents labeled Featured?

Accepted Answer

Featured agents pay for placement. Where they serve (the ZIP codes their subscription holds and their own city), they are listed first on city pages, state pages, search results and match lists, always labeled Featured. When we match you with agents, Featured agents holding your ZIP are offered your request first. Featured is not a rating or our recommendation. Can I work with an agent who handles both buying and selling?

Yes — most 'move-up buyers' need both. The matching quiz lets you select more than one intent (e.g., buying + selling, or buying + refinancing) so we route you to agents who can handle both sides of the transaction.

What if I'm refinancing instead of buying or selling?

Accepted Answer

Refinancing isn't strictly real-estate-agent territory — it's a lender's job — but most experienced agents have trusted lenders they refer to. Pick refinancing in the quiz and we'll match you with agents who can make a strong introduction.

What happens after I send a request?

We email you a link to confirm your address, and our team reviews your request. After you confirm, we may connect you with the local agents you were matched with. If you have a question about a request you sent, email us.

Can I see agents before submitting the quiz?

Yes. You can search all agents at /search, filter by state and city, and read full profiles before contacting anyone. The matching quiz is just the fastest way; it's never required.

Why don't agent profiles have reviews?

Accepted Answer

We don't collect reviews. An agent who has claimed their profile can connect their Google Business Profile, and their profile then shows their Google rating and review count with a link to their Google listing, where you can read the reviews themselves.

How do you protect my contact info?

Accepted Answer

Our team reviews every request before anyone else sees it. After you confirm your email, we may share your name, email, and phone with the agents you were matched with, and no one else. If you ask for a mortgage quote, that request comes to our team; no lender sees it unless we introduce you. We don't sell to third parties, run remarketing on your data, or share with brokerages. What states do you cover?

We cover the entire US — agents are sourced from license records nationwide. Some states have richer profiles than others; that's a function of how much license data we've ingested so far. Don't see your area? Submit the quiz anyway.

Question 14

I'm an agent. How do I claim my profile?

Accepted Answer

Sign up at /signup with your name, email, and license number. We'll match you against our license records and offer you the claim form. Our team reviews each claim; once it's approved, the profile is yours, leads come to you, and you have access to the dashboard.
