Expert Agents Near Me is free for home buyers, sellers and renters. We earn money from agents, and one of the things agents can pay for is placement. Here is exactly what that changes.

What does “Featured” mean?

An agent labeled Featured pays us a monthly subscription (from $199 per ZIP per month). Only an agent who has claimed their profile, and whose claim we approved, can subscribe. The label appears only while the subscription is active. It is paid placement, not a rating, a review or our recommendation.

How are agent lists ordered?

• On city pages, state pages, search results and match lists, Featured agents who serve that area are listed first, each labeled Featured. An agent serves an area through the ZIP codes their subscription holds and their own city.
• Everyone else on city and state pages is listed by total sales volume from license and sales records. Search results follow the sort you pick.
• On city pages, state pages and search results, a Featured agent is added at the top; nobody else is removed, and the rest of the list keeps its order. A match list has only 3 places, so there a Featured agent can take a place, as described below.

Does paying change who sees my request?

Yes, for requests where we choose the agents:

• When you use the matching quiz or ask for a home value, we pick up to 3 agents. Featured agents who hold your ZIP code are offered your request first, oldest subscription first.
• Any remaining places go to the best-scoring agents for your location and priorities. A Featured agent who serves your area gets an extra 30 points in that score.
• When you contact a specific agent from their profile, your message goes to that agent only. Paid placement never redirects it.

Our team reviews every request, and it reaches an agent only after you confirm your email. You never have to work with any agent we suggest.
